An essential for any lover of jalapeno poppers! Whether you use a BBQ, a pizza oven or a good old traditional domestic oven, jalapeno poppers are a delicious party piece or great savoury snack.
Simply top your jalapeno with the serated edge of the corer and use it to remove the membrane and seeds within by rotating the corer inside the jalapeno, then fill with your favourite stuffing mix (our favourite is a mixture of cream cheese, grated cheddar, chopped spring onions and coriander and a grind of salt and pepper - you can also add ham or bacon to this mix if you like) and pop the top back on. Then stick in your oven for 20 - 25 minites at 190C, or on a covered BBQ by indirect heat for a similar time or until the jalapenos have softened and lost their bright colour. If using a pizza oven the time is significantly les as the ovens reach much higher temeperatures.
